Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Sri Lanka shooting Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet'. He plays a boxer in the film for which Ranbir needs to maintain his physique. We have learnt that Ranbir has taken his own cook who carries his home-made food in a dabba everyday to the set.
Talking to us about shooting in Sri Lanka, Ranbir said, "It's been a perfect schedule here, cut off from Mumbai, shooting through the nights in a no man's land. I am on a very inspired set, which is run by women, which is lovely. It's actually a very clever thing that Anurag has done by hiring women both as his assistant directors as well as in production as women are hard-working, feel more and give more to their work. Sri Lanka, for me now, for all times, will be reminiscent of Bombay Velvet. I love the food here, but since I play a boxer in the film I need to maintain a certain physique, so my cook with me makes me normal desi khaana. The food here is spicy, but I do take my cheat breaks."
